Honor To Our Military Dads

This Father’s Day we will have a 4 Generation picture made
with my Dad, Son, Grandson and myself. I have seen this twice in my life. I am
very thankful for my family and especially for the teaching that my Father has
given me throughout my life. He has taught me, first of all, to serve God the
Father; secondly he has taught me to always deal in truth and honor.
I have seen these principles slipping away in this new
generation and it troubles me somewhat as I watch this happen. Although we will
continue to influence those in our immediate world to always deal fairly and
honestly, as we have been taught, it seems it has so little impact on the
larger world around us. But I know things are changed one step at a time and you
can eat an elephant one bit at a time, as the saying goes.
I love my Dad and I am a Dad carrying on a generational
tradition with Sons that love me too. But I can not help but think the real
Honor this year should go to the Dads, Fathers that are fighting for our freedom
now in a war that seems to be unending. Many may not get to see their families
ever again and their generations may have a missing member in it. So let’s not
forget to Pray for the safety of those on the fronts, fighting for our freedom
to enjoy this special Day. Happy Father’s Day to our military Dads and we are
praying for all of your safety.
